Is Love Real or True?

"Ok, I'm getting on it right away...should I be sitting cross legged, arms extended, palms up for this? Lol." ~ Kimberly Ann Gomes
That could work, Kimberly! Any position works great as long as you're comfortable enough! I like to listen to the silence behind the noise as a meditation.  It's the birthplace of the manifestations, where "Love" lives.

When we're present and tuned in to the moment, peace roles in and It becomes very obvious that "love" is the only "true" thing. I'm putting love and true in quotes because the labels and sentiments of love are human-centric in and of themselves, and that we actually access and experience love (try this on like a coat) in the space of is-ness and in the aftermath of where energy has flowed or is flowing to balance, similar to water flowing to level. In human form we feel love in the movement and in comparing the conditions of us, such as before and after the flow.

I do believe that the love to which Deepak Chopra is eluding is "the ultimate truth at the heart of the universe" and I'd just take it a step further to be as objective as I'm able in this particular review, accepting and celebrating the perspectives/experiences of the flesh while distinguishing what's real from what is true.

"Reality" is anything that occurs that we experience by our personal account and interpretation, illusions included. "Truth" is what actually occurs, rather than an interpretation of what occurs, and rather than the manifested illusions that the occurrence presents.

We attempt to identify love objectively. Stepping outside the human-centric perspective, love, as we are inclined to regard and celebrate it, is more real than it is true. That might sound strange until we embrace that "reality" is anything that we experience to be occurring, while “truth” is what is actually occurring, rather than our experience or interpretation of what is occurring.

In the physical life, again, we feel love in the metaphysical movement from imbalance to balance and in the resting places and/or in the relief we feel by comparing the conditions of imbalance and balance in the moments.  Notice the word moment contains the etymology of movement, such as momentum does. It indicates that we feel love in the movement, or in the flowing to balance.

Then we inherently and automatically humanize and romanticize the metaphysical flow and call it love. In his quote, Deepak Chopra appears to inherently demonstrate and forgive our humanoid narcissism, accepting our human-centric perspective as an accurate or true account of love. However, in doing so, he recycles the sentiment in the end where he romanticizes love, implying sentimentality by default. It reminds me of green trying to be brown. The opportunity is to stand as the observer of the color, rather than being the color. Mr. Chopra points us in that direction.

Love, as a sentiment, is insidious to human kind by design. However, if we attempt to occasionally stand outside of our humanoid selves, or temporarily separate or distinguish ourslelves from the distractions/illusions of the flesh, we gain insights for enrichment.

It helps to recognize the possibility that love is a metaphysical phenomena of us just as are the physical domain, gravity and centripetal force, and that we pursue points of engagement to feel it, only.

For example, exploring this premise helps me to be grateful more often, to dwell less on the drama and pain of love, knowing that "pain" is an indication that love is present and that it is just a way my physical-ness perceives* it, which gives me another opportunity to see it, be grateful and celebrate it more often. Let's not let conjured debilitating interpretations separate us from the love that's in our faces and available to embrace and celebrate.

Ultimately, reality is our playground and it is true that we really experience the phenomenon that we are, called love, and that we co-creatively intend and manifest ourselves in exciting, rich and spicy ways in order to feel what we are. We are conscious substance or energy or light or whatever we want to call ourselves, perpetually flowing to balance, becoming anew, also known as Love. ♥

Joe, although I jokingly mentioned the yoga pose in response to your post, meditation is something I seriously consider. Sometimes I think that we already know the answers to all of our questions and that we just need to sit still long enough to hear those answers. On another note I find the concept of reality vs. truth both interesting and intriguing. You are right of course in that reality is the way we choose to view the world which includes our illusions or for some, our delusions. We all have different realities but there is only one truth.

Thanks for the comment, Kim! Delusions are pretty difficult to avoid in the life. The illusions precipitate them, and then the illusions and delusions spin off new illusions and delusions. It just keeps going and it's exactly what we want. :)
