"As a member of the human race, & one that follows no religion. I would like to try to understand how life was for my ancestor's. So that having been said I do not believe it is a violent act to say that I am or my family is a certain nationality." ~ Ed F. |
Thanks Ed! It's only "violent" when we use our uniqueness to separate us rather than to enjoy and celebrate us, as in to create boundaries. For example, to exclude, isolate, compete against for survival, or to use as a justification to harm another, etc.
While present to our Oneness, we realize that we're affected and dependent upon the wellness of each other just as the human body microcosm is dependent upon the various body parts/organs to be well. This isn't about religion. This is about acknowledging and validating the metaphysical aspects of us. Here, metaphysical phenomena occurs parallel and intermingled with the physical, but not apparent to traditional human and simple tools of observation, e.g. at one point gravity was considered to be metaphysical. It's become so commonplace by our ability to scientifically observe and measure the surrounding influencing physical properties and symptoms/evidence of gravity. Gravity is no longer socially categorized as metaphysical, yet it is still an invisible and metaphysical force. |

Meanwhile, spirituality is presence to being, recognizing and realizing, first hand, that the substance of us exists or occurs beyond the physical life experience in which we engage "knowingly" or can observe with our human senses, e.g. sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing. Today, more metaphysical and quantum physical/mechanical phenomena are becoming observable and measurable, to a point where to ignore them and our related spiritual aspects is insane by cognitive dissonance.
Overall, regarding "violence", the labels are suspicious where they leave us prone to a susceptibility to a violent disposition when we are not conscious or not ready to recognize, embrace and celebrate that our differences reveal and allow us to realize our magnificence and beauty.
Thanks for the opportunity to explore.
